The Account Director will also be responsible for supporting the cross-selling of PO Management services to existing Contract Logistics (CL) and Freight Forwarding (FF) customers, in collaboration with CL and FF field sales teams. Likewise, the Account Director is expected to expand the offer of FF and CL services, to new PO Management customers.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Identify and target potential customers for PO Management services in North America, with a focus on increasing the account base.
- Onboard new customers and ensure a smooth transition to PO Management services.
- Develop and execute strategies to cross-sell PO Management services to existing CL and FF customers.
- Collaborate with CL and FF sales teams to identify opportunities for offering FF and CL services to PO Management customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including DP World USA operational account management, sales support teams, and industry-vertical teams for cross-selling opportunities.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, customer engagements and market trends.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in Supply Chain or International Logistics, with a focus on sales or customer service roles, particularly in Retail Fashion or related verticals.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience specifically in Purchase Order Management sales or execution, with a proven track record of successful new account onboarding.
- Excellent communication skills, with a customer-centric approach and a strong ability to collaborate with peers and team members to achieve common goals.
- Working knowledge of NEXUS or similar PO management systems is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in basic business software (ex. Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
