Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Data Engineer to fill an open position with one of our banking clients. This role is specifically within Capital markets (Foreign Exchange, Commodities, Interest Rate Derivatives, Securities processing) and should be Principal/Lead level to drive productivity in the data space.

Key Tasks

• Research appropriate tickers for interest rates and fx curves, volatility surfaces, historical prices and troubleshooting issues with market data feeds.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications:

• Technical Skills - SQL, Datastage, DBT, Snowflake
• Bloomberg = Nice to have
• Security data principals, ICE, and foreign markets = Nice to have
• Proficient in SQL and strong data engineering fundamentals.
• Team player with excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of distributed computing principles and data security concepts.
• Conceptual understanding of big data technologies, metadata management, ETL tools.
• Capital Market Experience
