Job Summary

The General Manager (GM) of the Courtside Club at Kaseya Center oversees all aspects of the Club's operations, ensuring a top-tier experience for members and general guests. The GM leads a team of Servers, Cocktail servers, VIP Hosts, bartenders, and service staff to maintain high service standards, manage revenue, and build strong relationships with the Miami Heat Courtside Club members and VIP clientele.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily operations of the Courtside Club, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with department heads (e.g., bar, kitchen, security, entertainment, supply chain) to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Monitor venue cleanliness, equipment functionality, and ambiance to uphold brand standards.

Membership Management:

  • Manage the Club's exclusive membership program, including attracting, retaining, and engaging VIP members, in partnership with the Miami Heat Premium Managers and VP of STM.
  • Foster strong relationships with members, ensuring personalized service and satisfaction.
  • Implement strategies to increase membership sales and loyalty.

Team Leadership & Management:

  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise a diverse team of managers and staff (bartenders, servers, security, etc.).
  • Lead, coach, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding service and maintain high morale.
  • Schedule staff and manage labor costs to align with business needs and budget.
  • Process By-weekly payroll wages and tips in collaboration with Levy HR Department.

Financial Management:

  • Manage club financials, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue growth.
  • Analyze sales reports, adjust strategies to meet revenue targets and control expenses.
  • Perform Monthly inventory following Supply Chain and Financial guidelines.

Marketing & Promotions:

  • Work closely with marketing teams to develop and implement promotional strategies, member events, and special parties.
  • Oversee social media presence and promotional campaigns to drive attendance and member engagement.
  • Coordinate events and special guest appearances to create buzz and attract high-end clientele.

Customer Service & Experience:

  • Ensure the highest levels of customer service for both members and general guests.
  • Address customer complaints or issues promptly and effectively.
  • Create memorable experiences for VIPs, members, and key clients through personalized service and attention to detail.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure all operations comply with local and state regulations, including health, safety, and licensing requirements.
  • Manage security teams to ensure the safety of guests, members, and staff.
  • Oversee staff adherence to alcohol-serving policies and other legal standards.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in a management role within the hospitality, nightclub, or luxury entertainment sector. Experience managing a membership program is preferred.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with VIP clientele.
  • Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting and revenue analysis.
  • Marketing and promotional experience, particularly in the nightlife or entertainment industries.
  • Problem-solving and crisis management abilities.

Personal Traits: Charismatic, detail-oriented, and results-driven. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
