Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry in Omaha, NE

**License:** Pending license accepted, but if not in hand upon submission, start date will be six weeks out.
**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, NIH required
**Must-Have:**
- EPIC charting experience required
- 100% nicotine-free
**Job Description:**
- Provide care to patients in the Observation Unit, which requires evaluation and treatment for 8 to 48 hours.
- Conditions may include chest pain, asthma, abdominal pain, kidney stones, and minor infections.
- Administer IV antibiotics, fluids, insulin drips, Nitro for blood pressure, total parenteral nutrition, and lipids.
- Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night (1:7 rarely, depending on staffing).
- Drips required on all floors.
- Experience in a Level I Academic Medical Center is beneficial.
- Float within scope as needed, which may include floating to other campuses.
- Adhere to the weekend requirement of two weekends in a four-week schedule period (Saturday/Sunday for day shift).
- Comply with the mandatory Steele gray scrubs with the appropriate branding.
- Attend a mandatory charting class on the Friday of the orientation week unless directed otherwise.
- Participate in the compliance process, with documents due by the Tuesday prior to the start date by 4 PM CST.
- Follow nicotine-free facility guidelines; any suspected nicotine use may result in contract termination.
