**Job Title:** Radiologic Technologist
**Job Specialty:** Nuclear Medicine Technician/PET
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Day Shift - 5x8 - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years; Open to first-time travelers with at least 1-year experience
**License:** AZDHS License; ARRT (N) or CNMT
**Certifications:** BLS, Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB, ARRT (N)
**Must-Have:** IV experience, PET and NM experience preferred
**Job Description:**
- Operate and manage 1 PET scanner and 3 Nuclear Medicine cameras.
- Conduct PET CT scans of the brain and whole body, prioritizing no cardiac studies.
- Perform various Nuclear Medicine studies including bone scans, whole body scans, brain scans, and cardiac assessments.
- Manage additional diagnostic procedures such as CSF Cisternogram, gastric emptying, HIDA scans, GI blood loss, lung perfusion, parathyroid scans, renal scans, sentinel node imaging, thyroid scans, and PSA scans.
- Start IVs when required as part of the imaging process.
- Collaborate with a Lead Tech who also functions as an alternate radiation safety officer.
- Work from a centralized scheduling office that follows a set template for scheduling.
- On-call rotation every third weekend, although calls are rare.
- Adhere to dress code with grey scrubs provided.
- Participate in a department-specific orientation program, with training provided by the lead tech.
- Work within a small, close-knit department comprising three team members.
- Use EPIC and departments' specific PACS - eUnity and MIMS for imaging documentation and analysis.
- Maintain compliance with departmental protocols and procedures under the supervision of a Radiology Manager.
