The Fowler City Council and staff are dedicated to maintaining and upgrading a desirable, quality lifestyle enjoyed by city residents. The City Manager, appointed by City Council, directs and supervises the operation of all City departments and programs, sees to the preparation and management of the municipal budget, develops and implements City administrative procedures, analyzes legislation, provides intergovernmental representation, and ensures that the Council’s legislative acts, policies, and programs are implemented.
The City is seeking an engaged, strategic, and visionary leader to serve as the next City Manager. The ideal candidate is a team player who wants to be involved in the community. The incoming City Manager will bring an understanding of the Central Valley and a desire to support each department and move forward with a growth mindset. The successful candidate will be an active, engaged manager who builds relationships and has a value system based on transparency, ethics, integrity, and a personal approach that engenders high trust and confidence.
Annual Salary Range: $160,000 - $200,000; placement within this range is dependent on qualifications and experience.
