Duties:
- Draft and prosecute patent applications related to cutting-edge technologies in life sciences.
- Conduct patent validity, non-infringement, and freedom-to-operate analyses.
- Support IP due diligences, patent litigations, and post-grant proceedings (IPR, PGR, interferences).
- Provide legal advice on intellectual property matters in the life sciences field.
- Collaborate with clients and legal teams to develop strategic solutions.
- Take on significant responsibility in legal research and analysis.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of substantive experience in intellectual property law.
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred, or M.S.) in biological sciences.
- Registration to practice at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
- Admission to a State Bar, preferably in Massachusetts.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Superior academic background.

Education:
