Data Architect

The Data Architect is responsible for designing, building, and implementing the overall data strategy and architecture to support the organization's data needs. This role requires expertise in modern data architecture, big data, and data engineering technologies.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain the overall data architecture, including data structures, systems, and processes.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements.
3. Evaluate and implement new data technologies and tools to support the organization's data needs.
4. Design and implement data security and privacy policies and procedures.
5. Manage data governance and data quality initiatives.
6. Develop and implement data integration and data migration strategies.
7. Provide technical leadership and guidance to the data engineering and analytics teams.

Requirements

Security Clearance: TS/SCI with an appropriate agency Polygraph is required.

1. Strong experience with modern data architecture, big data, and data engineering technologies.
2. Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, data integration, and data migration.
3. Strong knowledge of data security, privacy, and governance best practices.
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong leadership and team management skills.

1. Hadoop/Spark.
2. Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
3. Data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
4. Data integration tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica).
5. Data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
