Point B is seeking a dynamic and analytically oriented Compensation Manager to join our progressive People team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, implementation, and administration of our compensation programs, ensuring they align with Point B’s vision, strategy, and Employee Value Proposition while also maintaining tight alignment with competitive practices. You collaborate closely with management and internal partners to diagnose improvement opportunities, analyze competitive compensation practices and to develop compensation strategies that attract, motivate, engage and retain top talent. Your expertise will drive decisions regarding salary structures, bonus programs, and sales incentives to create a transparent, energized, and equitable work environment. You will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with government regulations affecting compensation and ensuring our pay practices are administered fairly. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical toolset, excellent communication skills, initiative, and a thorough understanding of compensation practices. WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:

  1. Develop and implement compensation strategies aligned with Point B’s goals.
  2. Conduct market research and analyze compensation trends to inform design of compensation programs for all Point B associates.
  3. Design and manage Point B’s job architecture, salary ranges, incentive plans and other people programs focused on delivering top talent.
  4. Oversee the administration of compensation programs using Workday, benchmarking tools, and analytical tools including Excel, Power BI, and statistical applications.
  5. Ensure compliance with compensation-related regulations and practices.
  6. Collaborate with Point B’s People team and management to evaluate and benchmark compensation programs.
  7. Provide guidance and training to HR Business Partners and managers on compensation matters.
  8. Facilitate and lead the design of effective variable pay and incentive practices.

WHAT WE EXPECT YOU'VE ALREADY DONE:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics or related field.
  2. A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in compensation management.
  3. Exceptional knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and applicable laws.
  4. Top-tier analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision making and collaborative problem solving.
  5. Excellent communication, initiative and interpersonal skills for collaboration and influence.
  6. Proficiency in compensation software and HR information systems, preferably with Workday Advanced Compensation.
  7. Certification in compensation (e.g., CCP) and some familiarity with employee benefits is preferred.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The estimated salary range for this role is $107,500 - $190,000 USD per year. This salary range is provided as required by local and state law as applicable. Individual salaries vary on a number of factors including but not limited to geography, skills, education, experience and unique qualifications where applicable.

Bonuses are awarded at Point B’s discretion and are based upon individual contributions and overall firm performance.
