THE POSITION:
Canyon State Electric (CSE), a leading electrical subcontractor in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Manager to join our growing team. Reporting to the Director of Strategy, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, generate leads, and achieve company goals. This role requires a passion for creative content creation, a strong understanding of digital marketing, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing effective marketing campaigns. This individual will also manage our Marketing Coordinator and oversee their professional development and daily tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and plans aligned with company objectives. This includes market research, competitive analysis, and identifying target audiences. Lead the brainstorming and implementation of creative marketing ideas.
Oversee all aspects of content creation, including video production, photography, graphic design, video editing, and website content updates. Ensure all content is consistent with the CSE brand message and identity. Manage the company's video/photo equipment, ensuring proper usage, storage, and upkeep.
Oversee the company's social media presence, including developing and executing social media strategies, creating engaging content, and monitoring performance. Oversee email marketing campaigns and website optimization for lead generation.
Champion the CSE brand message, identity, and awareness across all platforms. Represent the CSE brand professionally to coworkers, clients, and external partners.
Supervise and mentor the Marketing Coordinator, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks and professional development.
Own and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and tracking ROI.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as total impressions, website traffic, website engaged sessions, earned media, number of projects captured/documented, and form submissions. Report on marketing performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Develop and implement a swag strategy, including designing and sourcing branded merchandise.
Create compelling and effective copy for website, email, and social media platforms. Oversee the design of marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on photography, video production, and digital editing. Required.
Proven experience with Adobe Creative Cloud software (or equivalent) including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign, and Illustrator.
Demonstrated ability to plan, produce, schedule, and execute creative projects from concept to completion.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the CSE brand effectively to various stakeholders.
Excellent written communication skills across a variety of mediums, including email, web, social media, and others.
Experience interviewing subjects on-camera for video or journalism projects.
A strong passion for creating compelling content and generating innovative ideas.
A fun, flexible, and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Construction industry experience is a plus, but not required.
Candidates without a portfolio of past projects will not be considered.

Pay range is $70,000 - $85,000 depending on experience.
