MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to work 1st shift (7am-3:15pm)
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent visual perception to ensure fine detail quality inspection.
  • Full physical capability to sit, stand, walk, climb, reach, bend and maneuver around equipment and job stations.
  • The Inventory Control Clerk or Coordinator must have a high level of competence with other office computer applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Infor.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a position that included material and inventory control, and shipping and receiving of materials and supplies in an industrial setting.
  • Ability to simultaneously schedule and coordinate multiple tasks according to priority.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Receiving, documenting, and monitoring all aspects of sales orders and inventory control.
  • Inventory accuracy, control, records and protection of goods in inventory.
  • Communicating with the area supervisors on priorities.
  • Responding in a timely fashion to inventory enquiries
  • Maintaining a 95% or higher on time order processing for all types of orders
  • Stocking levels of KanBan and bench side products
  • Representation of the company with external contacts including customer relations and vendor relations.
  • Accurately assigning serial numbers for sales order
  • Following all ATF and LMT requirements and processes for inventory control, lot-out, and processing.
DUTIES
  • On-going communication with the Material Manager, Assembly Supervisor, Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, Quality Assurance, and Production Supervisors to ensure common understanding of immediate issues affecting throughput and the schedule.
  • Accurately picking quantities and parts for all types of orders
  • Works with shipping team to maintain a 95% on time to ship score.
  • Conducting weekly and monthly inventory audits and working with the Material Supervisor to adjust levels as needed.
  • Perform shipping and receiving operations if needed.
  • Assists in training of new hires in department.
  • Any other duties assigned.
