What you’ll be doing:
  • Prepare the day-to-day payroll operations for all regions covered by the team, coordinating with the third-party providers and the internal team to deliver pay accurately, timely, effectively, and within all regulatory, labor and tax guidelines.
  • Act as point-of-contact with employees and external vendor partners to resolve payroll and tax related issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Prepare international payroll, initiating the setup of payroll processes in different countries, ensure compliance with local laws, forecast payroll needs, and assist with implementations.
  • Prepare the regular preparation of relevant management reports including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.).
  • Prepare and analyze monthly reconciliations of payroll and tax related taxes.
  • Partnering and working closely with HR to ensure all payroll-related activities are managed correctly.
  • Identifying opportunities to automate current processes and implement effective controls to drive efficiency and streamline the payroll process.
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Developing ad-hoc financial and operational reporting as needed.
  • Performing other duties and special projects as requested by management.
What we look for in you:
  • Must have experience working with Payroll systems; Rippling and CloudPay preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, HR or a related discipline.
  • 1+ years of Payroll experience in US; EMEA and APAC regions preferred.
  • Excel knowledge, with demonstrated knowledge of pivot tables, formulas, shortcut keys, and other advanced Excel tools and functions as required.
  • Knowledge of withholding tax, related tax filings, tax policy and employment regulations as they relate to reporting in the United States.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret payroll data.
