Position Overview: We are seeking an IT Specialist to provide critical tech support across our dental offices. You will be the first line of defense in troubleshooting and resolving IT issues, ensuring seamless operations for both staff and patients. Working closely with the IT Manager, you will manage hardware, software, and network systems while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide responsive support to team members via email, phone, or in person.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer systems and software.
  • Communicate with the IT Manager on unresolved issues and potential system improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security procedures.
  • Maintain inventory of hardware and software.
  • Assist in training staff on dental practice platforms and IT tools.
Qualifications:
  • 2-4 year degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • 2-3 years of IT support experience in a professional environment; healthcare experience preferred.
  • CompTIA A+ certification required.
  • Experience with server and network administration (Active Directory, DNS, VOIP, TCP/IP).
  • Knowledge of security protocols (firewalls, VPNs, anti-virus software).
Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player but able to work independently.
