Antenna Engineer

Day to Day:

A large client is looking to add an Antenna Calibration Engineer to their team. This person will be working with vendors to calibrate and set up a Compact Antenna Test Range (CATR). They will then be involved in antenna test and calibration efforts for this product. This will include some scripting in Python and MATLAB. This person will be a lead at the site and will work directly with the RF Engineering teams.

Additional Responsibilities:

• As an Antenna Calibration Engineer specializing in RF/Antenna measurements, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and testing of the calibration methodology for our current and next-generation antenna terminals.
• You will be developing, commissioning and running state-of-the-art Compact Antenna Test Range (CATR) systems and conducting over the air calibration, verification and development activities for next-generation terminals.
• You will work closely with RF engineers, software developers, and quality assurance teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of our antenna systems

Must Have:

• 5+ years of Antenna Calibration Experience - calibration and verification of antenna elements such as active phased arrays, low noise amplifiers, power amplifiers, frequency conversion, ADC & DAC
• Experience with Ka-Band is ideal but L-Band will suffice (X-band is minimum)
• Python and MATLAB scripting experience
• Open to travel to the UK for 2-4 weeks in their first 1-2 months on the job
• Strong communication and professionalism
