National Sales Manager Fresh Air Division

The role of the National Sales Manager is to manage all assigned accounts and to develop and execute Sales Strategies for all of the brands and product lines and channels of distribution of the company. The position requires leadership and will be crucial in setting the pace for profitable, sustainable growth of Ventamatic, while reporting to the Vice President of Sales.

Responsibilities:

  1. Secure new business within the HVAC and Electrical Wholesale Channels.
  2. Seek out new channels of opportunity.
  3. National Sales Management:
    1. Direct management of select HVAC and Electrical Wholesale customer relationships, including in-person sales appointments and daily interaction with the buying and replenishment teams as required.
    2. Direct management of strategic planning for product introductions and key customer product development, interacting with Engineering, Purchasing, and the President.
    3. Management of all major accounts.
    4. Responsible for setting annual forecasts and sales targets and interacting with purchasing to deliver accurate forecasting of demand for the upcoming year.
    5. Create a culture of success, ongoing business, and good achievement.
    6. Direct management of all pricing, annual price increases, and maintenance of price lists and customer “off sheet” pricing, interacting with the Controller, Business Analysis, and the President to determine and execute pricing strategies.
    7. Responsible for setting the promotional calendar, including pre-season sales, specials, and inventory closeout specials. Must work in conjunction with purchasing to monitor levels of overstocked inventory and plan and execute promotions on those items.
    8. Management of profitability reporting for all customers and planning and execution of pricing plans to meet goals.
  4. General:
    1. Manage daily/weekly/monthly reporting for each major account.
    2. Participate in daily/weekly/monthly conference calls.
    3. Oversee major account trade shows and events, including trade show sample orders and staffing.
