Be an integral part of Rayonier's journey towards a sustainable future! As a Carbon Analyst , you'll play a key role in shaping our world-class carbon platform and unlocking the full potential of Land-Based Solutions.
How to contribute:

  • Collaborate: Work hand-in-hand with both internal teams and external contractors to identify, develop, and execute innovative carbon projects that generate tangible value from Rayonier's carbon assets.
  • Analyze and Strategize: Support the carbon team by conducting in-depth research and analysis on carbon markets, trends, and key players in the industry to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Project Management: Coordinate and oversee various carbon projects, ensuring timely and efficient implementation while adhering to best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Value Creation: Actively seek and implement business opportunities that leverage Rayonier's carbon assets to generate revenue and achieve our sustainability goals.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep abreast of the latest developments in carbon markets, regulations, and technologies to identify emerging trends and potential risks.
Required Qualifications
  • B.S. Degree in natural resources or related, business or finance (STEM major is preferred)
  • Exposure to financial modeling such as DCF (Discounted Cash Flow) and advanced use of Excel
  • Project management skills with the ability to structure and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate, collaborate, and manage relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and accuracy; highly organized and self-directed with strong initiative
  • Able to travel for internal and external outreach/customer visits as needed.

Location: Wildlight, FL - requires a minimum of three days a week in the office. (Tue, Wed & Thur)
