Position Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst will support the VP of Finance and the operational teams in their development and management of critical financial models and executive-level presentations. This critical role will be an integral resource for the operational teams. In this role, the Sr. Financial Analyst will demonstrate exceptional analytical and communications skills and will be proficient in working with cross-functional teams to achieve the best outcomes. This role is responsible for helping management forecast, budget, and interpret the business results and understand the ‘why’ behind the numbers.

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

Coordinate between the Finance team and Business Segment team on forecasting, budgeting, strategic planning, and other miscellaneous financial reporting:

  • Become a “business partner” for the assigned business segment and build connectivity
  • Coordinate between the Finance team and assigned team on forecasting, budgeting, strategic planning, and other miscellaneous financial reporting
  • Support the continuous development and implementation of process improvements
  • Provide variance analysis and communication of financial results

Development and reporting of specific performance metrics, development of independent hypothesis, and financial modeling:

  • Financial modeling
  • Provide macro-level industry trends and benchmarks, along with knowledgeable commentary on key comparable companies
  • Development and reporting of specific performance metrics, including, marketing ROI, brand valuation, and pro-forma market analysis
  • Ad hoc financial analysis

Present recommended solutions for process improvements to achieve enhanced financial performance:

  • Partner with leadership to provide intelligent commentary on financial results and ensure consistency in the external reporting of key financial analysis
  • Recommend process improvements to achieve enhanced financial performance
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required; Master's preferred
  • 5+ years of financial or business analysis experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics and other ERP systems knowledge; SQL preferred
  • MS Office Suite experience, with strong skills in Excel
