Position Overview : Our company seeks an experienced Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. If you are customer-focused, proactive, and passionate about supporting personal lines clients in their insurance needs, this position is a great fit for you.
As a Personal Lines CSR, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our personal lines division insurance clients. You will be responsible for assisting in account management, client inquiries, processing policy changes, remarkets, and assisting with client claims. You will work closely with account managers, underwriters, and other team members to ensure client satisfaction and retention. By maintaining a thorough understanding of personal lines insurance products and services, you will help clients navigate complex insurance policies and provide timely solutions to their concerns.
Work Arrangement : This is a full-time position with four expected days in our Dallas, TX office each week (one work from home day per week post-onboarding).
Professional Responsibilities :
  • Assist clients with claim submissions, provide claim status updates, and help resolve issues with adjusters or underwriters
  • Respond to all inquiries and requests from clients via phone, email, or in person
  • Process and manage personal lines insurance policies
  • Work closely with underwriters, agents, and other internal teams to ensure smooth processing of all personal lines policies
  • Enter and update client information and policy details in the company's database and CRM system
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on their policy changes and billing
  • Prepare, review, and file insurance documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations
  • Address client concerns or issues and work with underwriters, brokers, or other departments to find timely solutions
  • Provide clients with billing information, payment options, and assist with resolving payment-related inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, agency policies, and industry standards when communicating with clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster retention and satisfaction
Qualifications and Requirements :
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is a plus
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in personal lines insurance
  • Prior working knowledge of policy management, quoting, or claims handling in a personal lines insurance setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Suite and products
  • Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality customer support

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future
