The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for taking on a leadership role in financial decision-making that affects our company and will provide strategic financial input to senior management. While keenly overseeing the overall accounting process, the CFO plays a key role in developing and implementing financial procedures to improve and maintain the financial health of our group.
Pay Range: $150,000- $300,000 Per Year. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.
Responsibilities
What you'll do as a Chief Financial Officer:
- Execute the financial strategy of the company
- Manage financial controls and accounting procedures
- Ensure full transparency over the financial performance of the company
- Provide advice on how to increase revenue and reduce costs
- Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner
- Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained
- Support the President with the preparation of monthly and annual financial plans
- Maintain speed and accuracy of billings and client payments
- Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required
- Coordinate State filing and Yellow books as required
- Evaluate and ensure the adequacy of collateral held by reinsurers to cover potential liabilities and claims
- Oversee the company’s capital structure, managing the deployment of financial resources efficiently
Qualifications
What we look for in our Chief Financial Officer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years’ experience in a senior financial managerial position
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Dynamics SL financial reporting software
- Exceptional communication skills
- Results-oriented and strategic thinker

Education
Preferred:
- Bachelor's or better in Finance or related field
- Masters or better in Business Administration
Experience
