Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Asset Improvement Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing the performance of our electrical assets and systems, driving continuous improvement initiatives, & supporting the overall efficiency of our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments of existing electrical systems & equipment to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance asset performance, reliability, and safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute improvement projects, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Analyze data and performance metrics to support decision-making and prioritization of asset improvement initiatives.
• Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures & develop action plans to mitigate risks and enhance reliability.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, & best practices related to electrical engineering and asset management.
• Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment.
• Prepare and present reports and recommendations to management on asset performance and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout all projects.
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering within an industrial environment, preferably in chemical manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, equipment, and industry standards.
• Proven experience in project management and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, & troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various departments.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools used for electrical design, analysis, and performance monitoring
