Role: Accounting Analyst
Location: New York, Hybrid (World Trade Center)
Contract Length: 15-week assignment (December 9th - March 21st) - No extensions
Interview Process: Two rounds, each 30 minutes
Working Model: Hybrid - 3 remote days, 2 onsite days (Wednesday required, plus one additional day of your choosing)

The ideal candidate will assist with data modifications, corrections, tracking, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual corrections to 1099 data (e.g., name separation, address updates)
- Track and coordinate data sets from internal client payment sources according to the end-of-year schedule
- Prepare and cleanse data for 1099 tax reporting in collaboration with the automation team
- Follow up with internal and external payee sources for any outstanding critical data (e.g., addresses)
- Manage internal client 1099 escalations and communicate with the Procurement Operations team
- Support ongoing third-party questions, return issues, and replacement requests post-1099 filing
- Monitor Jira desk for 1099-related tickets
- Organize data in Google Drive folders
Requirements:
- Customer service experience
- Proficiency in data entry, organization, and VLOOKUP
- Strong attention to detail
- Tax experience, preferably with 1099 MISC and 1099 NEC forms
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and changing environment
