Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Reports To: Director of Operations
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Manager with a strong focus on scheduling and ERP integration. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the supply chain scheduling process, leading the implementation of a new scheduling software module into our existing ERP system, and ensuring seamless integration with our overall supply chain operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent project management skills, strong knowledge of ERP systems, and a proven track record in supply chain optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling Management:
- Develop, implement, and manage the master scheduling process to ensure optimal production planning and inventory control.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to align schedules with demand forecasts and supply chain capacity.
- Monitor and adjust schedules to address changes in demand, supply chain disruptions, or production issues.
ERP Integration:
- Lead the implementation of new scheduling software within the existing ERP system, ensuring seamless integration with other modules (e.g., inventory, procurement, production).
- Collaborate with IT, operations, and supply chain teams to design, test, and deploy the new scheduling module.
- Train staff on the new system, providing ongoing support to ensure effective use and adoption across the organization.
Process Optimization:
- Analyze current scheduling processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and efficiency gains.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline scheduling, reduce lead times, and enhance supply chain performance.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the scheduling process and ERP integration.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with production, procurement, logistics, and quality teams to ensure alignment and coordination across the supply chain.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling-related issues, facilitating communication and resolution of conflicts.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Generate reports and provide insights on scheduling performance, inventory levels, and production efficiency.
- Use data analysis to identify trends, forecast future needs, and support decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on scheduling and ERP systems.
- Proven experience in implementing scheduling software or modules into ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and scheduling tools.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- APICS/CSCP certification is a plus.
