The Role:

Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for:

  1. Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and expand market share.
  2. Leading and mentoring a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  3. Identifying new business opportunities and potential clients, nurturing relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
  4. Analyzing sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  5. Collaborating with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with company objectives.
  6. Implementing sales forecasting and budgeting, ensuring effective resource allocation and maximizing ROI.
  7. Participating in client meetings, negotiations, and contract discussions to secure key deals.
  8. Staying up-to-date with industry developments and advancements to maintain a competitive edge.

The Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 6+ years of sales experience in the steel industry (manufacturer or supplier) at a Senior Manager or Director level.
  2. Proficient and knowledgeable in sales of PC Wire, PC Strand, Industrial Wire, Low and High Carbon Industrial Wire, Bright Wire, and Galvanized Wire products.
  3. Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets within a competitive market.
  4. Essential professional competences: strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, communication, strong financial acumen, customer service, proactive, persuasive, organized, adaptable, self-managed and a seasoned negotiator.
  5. Experienced with sales management tools, CRM software, and Microsoft Office suite.
  6. Ability to travel up to 65% of the time within the Southeast or Southwest regions of the US.
