The Role:
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and expand market share.
- Leading and mentoring a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Identifying new business opportunities and potential clients, nurturing relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
- Analyzing sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Collaborating with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with company objectives.
- Implementing sales forecasting and budgeting, ensuring effective resource allocation and maximizing ROI.
- Participating in client meetings, negotiations, and contract discussions to secure key deals.
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments and advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
The Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 6+ years of sales experience in the steel industry (manufacturer or supplier) at a Senior Manager or Director level.
- Proficient and knowledgeable in sales of PC Wire, PC Strand, Industrial Wire, Low and High Carbon Industrial Wire, Bright Wire, and Galvanized Wire products.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets within a competitive market.
- Essential professional competences: strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, communication, strong financial acumen, customer service, proactive, persuasive, organized, adaptable, self-managed and a seasoned negotiator.
- Experienced with sales management tools, CRM software, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to travel up to 65% of the time within the Southeast or Southwest regions of the US.
