**Job Description:**
- Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures using state-of-the-art computerized diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Support other imaging technologists as needed.
- Demonstrate competency with starting and maintaining intravenous (IV) access and the use of high-speed, pressurized injection equipment.
- Evaluate patients for clinical contrast history and possible contraindications.
- Adhere to established section and organizational protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Interact appropriately with patients and all care providers by coordinating and prioritizing procedures to maintain a high level of patient care and continuity.
- Rotate within departments and clinics for proper coverage.
- Assist radiologists in invasive and biopsy procedures using CT equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
- Ensure that exam rooms are neat, clean, and adequately stocked before exams are performed and act to ensure compliance with Infection Control standards.
- Ensure all charges are correctly coded and entered.
- Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to accommodate unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, age-specific, and other developmental needs of each patient served.
- Perform all duties in a manner that protects patient confidentiality.
- Demonstrate adherence to the core values of the healthcare organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
