Responsibilities:

  1. Work within an Agile team to design, test, and implement technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies.
  2. Solve problems by crafting software solutions using maintainable, scalable, and modular code.
  3. Build and maintain features/functionality in our core platform API (Python/Django or NodeJs).
  4. Be an advocate for consistent, quality, and decoupled code by writing unit tests and performing code reviews.
  5. Work across multiple codebases and services. Breakdown complex functionality into manageable deliverables.
  6. Participate in technical documentation for new or existing features.
  7. Motivate, collaborate, and challenge team members to grow individually and as a team.

Qualifications:

  1. At least 4 years experience working with both front & back end technologies, including significant experience on highly interactive, customer-facing web applications.
  2. 3+ years experience of working in a fast-paced software environment as an engineer.
  3. Significant working experience with AWS, GCP or Azure.
  4. Proven track record for quality code (proper unit test coverage and documentation).
  5. Proven experience with work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  6. Good teamwork skills with a problem-solving, self-starter attitude.
  7. Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
  8. Experience with CI/CD concepts and CI/CD implementations.
  9. A strong desire to solve problems, locate problem areas in our code that need updating, and to improve our development process in general.
