Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking an In-Charge Accountant to work in the St. Marys area. This direct-hire position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in the planning of engagements and complete compilation engagements with guidance.
- Assume additional responsibility for the preparation of work papers and financial statements.
- Develop footnotes to financial statements.
- Develop management letter comments.
- Review work papers prepared by staff accountants.
- Keep the manager/supervisor informed of the status of engagements.
- Prepare higher-level individual, corporate, and/or other types of tax returns.
- Perform preliminary research on tax-related issues and respond to tax notices.
- Participate in tax planning.
- Deepen knowledge of federal, state, and local law.
- Develops technical skills both on the job and through formal learning channels.
- Works as an effective team member to complete project components and assigned tasks.
- Seeks to gain knowledge of client businesses and implement solutions for clients.
- Identifies task issues as well as task progress in a timely and organized manner.
- Builds strong team relationship skills.

Required Education and Experience:
- College degree and
- Minimum of 2 years public accounting experience.
