As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Manager to manage the daily operations of our office and take on Human Resources responsibilities.
Job Overview:
The Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of WCTA’s office while also overseeing key HR functions. The ideal candidate will manage administrative tasks, support employee relations, and drive the recruitment and onboarding processes. This role offers a unique opportunity for someone who is both organized and people-oriented, with the ability to balance office management with human resources duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Management
Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and organization.
Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory.
Coordinate and schedule meetings, manage calendars, and support internal communications.
Ensure the office environment is clean, professional, and welcoming.
Maintain office records and handle administrative correspondence.
Human Resources (HR)
Lead recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screenings, and coordinating interviews.
Manage the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and attendance.
Handle employee relations matters and provide support in performance management and conflict resolution.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Assist with employee training, development, and retention initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required:
Proven experience in office management or a similar administrative role.
Familiarity with Human Resources functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
High level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
Experience with processing payroll through ADP RUN
Preferred:
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, a-PHR) is a plus.
Experience in logistics or transportation industries.
Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
