Job Summary

Administer anesthesia, monitor patient's vital signs, and oversee patient recovery from anesthesia. Participate in the delivery of all types of anesthetics under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist.

Qualifications:

1. MLD - Master's Level Degree: Nurse Anesthetist (Required)
2. N-4YR - RN-Bachelor's Level Degree (Required)
3. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
4. Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
5. Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Certification - National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
6. Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Certification - Other/National
7. Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Nursing License - North Carolina
8. Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Nursing License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP)
9. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
10. Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - North Carolina
11. Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP)
12. Registered Nurse License (RN) - Nursing License - Compact/Multi-State License
