We are seeking a full-time Project Architect in our Somerville office.
Example responsibilities:
- Project Architect for a portfolio of high-end custom home projects
- Lead Schematic Design through the creation of original design work; presenting designs to sophisticated clients via zoom
- Oversee Design Development, Detailing, and Material and Specification Selection
- Shepherd clients through a structured design and production process; reviewing drawings and details with staff and clients; managing expectations vis a vis budget, timeline, and deliverables; leveraging a complete internal support team
- Perform Site Visits
- Coordinate, develop and maintain relationships with consultants
- Professional Degree in Architecture: Licensure is preferred, but not required
- 10-plus years’ experience in client and project management
- 10-plus years’ experience working with construction documents
- A portfolio of high-quality single family residential design work
- Extensive experience conducting site visits and undertaking construction observation
- Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp and Excel
- Experience coordinating consultants
