Director of Enrollment & Community Engagement

We are hiring a Full-Time Director for our Enrollment Department!

Basic Qualifications:

Education/Training/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or related field.
  • Current driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Skill(s):

  • Ability to effectively present PACE philosophy and model to the community and to prospective participants.
  • Leadership, management, and mentoring skills.
  • Strategic planning skills.
  • Relationship management.
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Enthusiasm and sincerity.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of financing mechanisms such as Medicaid, Medicare, Prospective Payment Systems, and HMO Managed Care providing risk-based capitated systems.
  • Good working knowledge of PACE philosophy and eligibility/denial criteria.
  • Computer proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications.

Experience:

  • Job specific industry experience with knowledge of current community health practices for the frail adult population and/or cognitively impaired seniors including the values offered with integrated care.
  • Experience with multiple Medicaid managed care plan products.
  • 5-10 years sales experience.
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience.

Medical Clearance:

Employees must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.

General Responsibilities:

  • Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Development Director is responsible for the oversight of the Enrollment Operations and Team.
  • Supports the mission and values of Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey.
  • Manages Enrollment Team. Hires, trains, and develops the team on best practices under the P.A.C.E. model.
  • Identifies and develops new business opportunities.
  • Builds relationships with Referral Sources.
  • Evaluates existing partnerships and sales efforts with an eye toward building on what works and changing what doesn’t.
  • Manages key relationships and works to build new ones.
  • Expands the profile and reach of the company and its brands.
  • Leads sales, marketing, customer-service, and client relationship management teams.
  • Develops and strengthens internal and external relationships that will lead to increased lead generation.
  • Collaborates with IDT for sustainable, long-term growth.
  • Tracks emerging markets and trends.
  • Fosters and works to maintain an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the company and across all teams and work functions.
  • Proposes and develops strategic partnerships.
  • Helps to shape the company’s long-term objectives and determine plans for how to meet them.
  • Researches and identifies new markets.
  • Conducts webinars and presentations to raise the profile of Lutheran Senior LIFE.
  • Shares responsibility with other team members in the implementation of Lutheran Senior Healthcare philosophy and achievement of program goals.
  • Keeps confidential, all PACE or prospective PACE participant information, and/or all other information pertaining to PACE or prospective PACE participants, issues, or business practices.
  • Practices Universal Precautions and follows appropriate Infection Control procedures.
  • Promotes the Lutheran Senior Healthcare Program to potential participants and community agencies.
  • Completes annual compliance and HIPAA training and exhibits behavior as set forth by the LSMNJ Code of Ethics and Business Integrity in the performance of duties.
  • Adheres to the Organization’s Policies and Procedures regarding the Compliance Program of the organization and is timely in reporting any possible concerns.
  • Follows all local, state, and federal regulations as they pertain to the position.
  • Adheres to the Organization’s Policies and Procedures covering Privacy and Security in Compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned by my supervisor, necessary for the efficient operation of the department/facility.
