Job Description: Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an exciting career opportunity for a Director of Scheduling! This individual will support construction operations by providing the tools, training, and support necessary to promote best-in-class scheduling performance. Some things you can expect to do: Provide training to the regional schedulers & field teams on the use of scheduling tools that is consistent with Ryan's scheduling standard practices (Fundamentals, Ryan Process, software) Developing and deploy construction project scheduling and planning resources across all our offices and projects Monitor scheduling trends across the Ryan project portfolio and develop action plans as needed to improve project schedule performance Provide guidance and develop a national operations schedule data analytics strategy Assist with the hiring and onboarding of Scheduling Engineers Assist project teams and regions with monitoring and interpreting schedule health dashboards and performance reports Capture and analyze completed project schedule data to assist Data Analytics team with fostering an environment of "continuous improvement" Act as a resource to project construction teams and Sr. construction leadership. Work on special projects pertaining to the overall Scheduling Operations. Remain current with new developments in the construction industry as it pertains to scheduling and communicate them to team members. Job Requirements: To be successful in this role, a minimum of 15 years of experience within the construction industry is required. You must have at least 10 years of experience planning and scheduling construction projects. Expert proficiency in scheduling software (P6 & MS Project) is required. You must be familiar with the DCMA 14-point schedule health assessment & understand Lead Construction methodologies. You must also be able to travel up to 50% of the time. You will really stand out if you have: A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field Knowledge of 4D scheduling software Knowledge of industrial, healthcare, food & beverage, mission critical, or advanced manufacturing scheduling Eligibility: Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Compensation: The salary range is $145,600-182,000. The salary range may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
