Overview:

We're seeking an enthusiastic Special Education Teacher (RSP Teacher) to join our team of professionals at our schools in the San Bernardino, CA area and its surrounding locations. This role presents a chance to positively shape students' educational paths while being a vital support to both students and fellow educators. You'll be responsible for delivering tailored educational programs to students with specific learning disabilities or other challenges. With an annual salary range of $61,000.00 - $89,000.00, this position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the academic growth of students in need.

Pay Rate: $61,000.00 - $89,000.00 Annually

Location: San Bernardino, CA, and its surrounding areas

Schedule: Monday - Friday (school operating hours)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Master's Preferred)
  • California Clear or Preliminary Resource Specialist Teaching Credential
  • Mild/ Moderate or Moderate/ Severe
  • Confident computer technology skills
  • Recent and relevant professional development in teaching and learning
  • Proven ability to work in an urban school environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Preferably Bilingual in English and Spanish



Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized educational programs (IEPs) for students with learning disabilities and other severe challenges.
  • Provide necessary accommodations and assistance to support student success in inclusive classrooms.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum and instruction.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and stakeholders about student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs.
  • Performs related tasks as required.
