**Job Title:** Interventional Technologist IV
**Job Specialty:** Interventional Radiology
**Job Duration:** 14 weeks
**Shift:** Day 4x9 Hr Shifts (10 shifts of 9 hours during the week + call - 1 weekend a month and 1 weeknight a week)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Preferred 1-year vascular/interventional imaging experience
**License:** Must be registered in ARRT(R)(CV/V)
**Certifications:**
- Valid ARRT (R)(CV/VI) registration
- Fluoroscopy certification
- Radiation safety knowledge
**Must-Have:**
- Knowledge of vascular anatomy and skill in the recognition of normal and abnormal variants
- Experience in documentation and teamwork within a multi-disciplinary environment
- Effective communication skills
**Job Description:**
- Operate Angiographic equipment for vascular/interventional radiography procedures.
- Perform high-quality patient care and produce radiographic images necessary for diagnosis and treatment of disease.
- Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to complete exams.
- Receive patients, explain methods of examination, position patients, perform IV puncture, and administer IV contrast agents when indicated.
- Independently perform and complete routine examinations.
- Communicate effectively and coordinate care with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Actively participate in quality initiatives to maintain high patient satisfaction, care, and workflow efficiency.
- Handle a variety of material and equipment, including Interventional Radiology equipment, ultrasound, CT, angiographic and interventional catheters, and life support devices.
- Be flexible to work different shifts and respond to call schedules, including weekends and holidays.
