Job Description

Reporting to the VP Sales & Marketing, the Director of Business Development will be directly involved in the sales activities of the service and technology solutions sector for the Amotus division only:

  1. Responsible for the proactive promotion of Amotus services and technology solutions.
  2. Participates in business development activities (conventions, conferences, etc.).
  3. Manages all sales activities within his territory (customer presentations and others).
  4. Develops and maintains good business relationships at various customer levels.
  5. Develops, in collaboration with management, the commercial strategy for sales projects and company positioning.
  6. Coordinates with internal sales in the preparation of preliminary and final bids, as well as for specific projects in order to promote the sale of Amotus solutions.
  7. Actively tracks bids to ensure maximum potential for bid-to-order conversion.
  8. Update the sales database and prepare forecasts, while keeping an eye on projects and key accounts.
  9. Monitor market technology to identify business opportunities for Amotus.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

  1. Experience in IoT (essential).
  2. Perfect comprehension and communication skills in English, as you will be in direct contact with American and international customers.
  3. Bachelor's degree in engineering or sales or equivalent experience.
  4. At least 5 years' experience in technology and business development.
  5. A self-starter with a constant desire to learn.
  6. Able to travel occasionally for business events and business trips.
  7. Fully remote work possible.
  8. Knowledge of technological solutions in IoT, wireless, cloud computing, embedded systems, Linux, electronic design, and “firmware” for connected systems.
  9. Knowledge of sales in commercial and industrial environments.
  10. Knowledge of technology companies.
  11. Knowledge of tendering processes.
  12. Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite.
