**Job Description:**
- Partner with residents and care providers to create a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Provide direct and indirect care tailored for Alzheimer’s and dementia residents.
- Utilize verbal and non-verbal communication techniques to manage resident behaviors effectively.
- Deliver care in a home-like setting, adapting to the unique needs of each resident.
- Work in a specialized 31-bed unit for Alzheimer’s/dementia care, a 42-bed Transitional Rehabilitation Unit, and a 42-bed long-term care unit.
- Perform skilled nursing duties including IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment/management.
- Offer nursing and rehab services to patients with short-term recovery needs such as fractures, joint replacements, and strokes.
- Participate in up to 16 hours of unpaid orientation.
- Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius.
- Flexibility to float to various units and adapt to different care demands within the facility.
- Required to provide holiday coverage.
