Job Description

1. Experience in Unix System administration;
2. Experience supporting 24 hour, 7 day operations;
3. Experience in installation of z/VM through 6.6 on dual IBM 2098s with multiple LPARS;
4. Experience in installation of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 8 through 11.3 running as z/VM Guests;
5. Experience in installation of RedHat Linux Server 6.3 through 6.5 running as z/VM Guests;
6. Experience in coding REXX scripts to automate the backups of z/VM and z/Linux operating systems;
7. Experience with TCP/IP configuration and the implementation of SMTP, FTP, TN3270, and web services in z/OS, z/VM, and z/Linux environments;
8. Experience with SMP/E installation and maintenance for a variety of program products;
9. Experience with planning, implementation, and configuration of the Open Systems Adapter-Express Integrated Console Controller (OSA-ICC) function in System Z.
