Dentive is currently seeking a full-time Payroll Manager to add to our amazing team in Provo, UT!

We're a growing Dental Partnership Organization that is dedicated to supporting Dentists by taking on the admin work so they can focus on what they do best. We are looking for a stellar Sr. Payroll Manager to join the team and lead the payroll efforts for both Dentive and our dental practices.


Supervisory Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
  • Hold consistent check ins and provide consistent and constructive feedback to help team members grow and develop.
  • Provide support to payroll specialists and assist with escalated issues or conversations.


General Responsibilities:


  • Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, unique compensation calculations, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, termination, and changes to pay rates.
  • Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
  • Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors as needed.
  • Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing procedures and systems.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.



What you bring…


  • UKG Mastery – You are experienced in using the UKG Payroll Processing software, this skill is strongly preferred.
  • Experience – You have 10 to 15 years of payroll experience, as well as experience with multi-state and multi-location payroll. Multi-entity experience is a plus.
  • Tax Knowledge – You have a great understanding of multi-state tax regulations and requirements.
  • Great Communication – You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organization and Detail Oriented – You know how to manage your time effectively and efficiently, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Professional – You know how to handle sensitive data in a confidential and professional manner.
  • Problem Solver – You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
