District Healthcare Services is looking for dedicated and skilled Float Medical Assistants and Clerical Assistants to join our team to support our team across multiple locations, in VA and DC. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and ensuring smooth operations within our facility.
Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical and Clerical duties
  

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
  

• Prepare and maintain patient records and documentation
  

• Perform routine lab tests and prepare specimens for testing
  

• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed
  

• Manage patient flow and schedule appointments
  

• Answer phones and provide necessary information to patients
  

• Perform other duties as needed
  

• Will work at multiple locations
  

• Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred

• Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
