JOHN LEONARD is helping a well-established general practice law firm hire a Legal Administrative Assistant for its vibrant Boston office. This Legal Assistant position will support attorneys and paralegals across a variety of practice areas, including Litigation, Family Law, Corporate, and more. The firm is offering a competitive salary range of up to $65K, the opportunity to work remotely one day a week, and a comprehensive benefits package.


If you were already in this Legal Administrative Assistant position, here is some of what you would have taken on in your first few weeks:

  • Create, edit, and finalize correspondence and legal documents
  • Format and proofread documents, copy, assemble, and distribute documents to clients, courts, agencies, attorneys, and other parties
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars; coordinate conferences, including conference room scheduling, ordering meals, and preparation of materials; and coordinate business-related travel as needed
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all client matters and firm business
