Overview:
We are seeking a part-time USA Swimming Coach to lead our middle school group swimmers.
This coach will be responsible for a diverse group of athletes, ranging from state
champions/finalists to swimmers working towards divisional standards. The ideal
candidate will embody our motto of "Whatever It Takes," demonstrating a commitment to
supporting, motivating, and inspiring our swimmers both in the pool and in life.
Core responsibilities:
• Coaching: Oversee the development of the middle school group, ensuring alignment
with the Head Coach's vision and the club's overall objectives. Primary practice times are Mon-Fri 5:15pm - 7:45pm. Meets are generally one weekend/month. We will provide written practices. $30/hr + your kids can train for free
• Culture Development: Foster a positive and supportive team culture, emphasizing
the club’s core values and philosophy.
• Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents,
swimmers, and the broader coaching staff. Provide regular updates on swimmer
progress, meet schedules, and other relevant information.
• Goal Setting and Athlete Development: Develop personalized goal-setting plans
for swimmers and monitor their progress, focusing on both short-term and long-
term goals.
• Administrative Duties: Assist with administrative tasks related to the practice group,
such as meet entries, attendance tracking, and performance analysis.
