Description :

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Work with IT and Business teams to provide strategic guidance within the overall technology and promote standard solutions and best practices.
  2. Provide consulting to business clients to identify, analyze, and satisfy the business needs.
  3. Demonstrates understanding of business processes for several business functional areas, and can effectively coordinate the work on analysis and requirements for several projects.
  4. Demonstrates good understanding of the following areas: testing, project management, related Lines of Business processes, software development, object models, regulatory compliance, operational/disaster recovery, operations, maintenance, etc.
  5. Demonstrates level of expertise to act as a recognized authority for a project or initiative.
  6. Analyze end-to-end complex business processes and information needs for multiple business functional areas.
  7. Provide consulting information technology to the client to identify and satisfy the business needs, while helping anticipate potential issues.
  8. Facilitate, influence and build agreements on IT requirements and deliverables for multiple business clients.
  9. Takes initiative to understand in detail the current and future business environment.
  10. Define and document business functional, non-functional requirements and use cases for complex IT projects and initiatives.
  11. Evaluate, design and document solution alternatives to accommodate business needs or solve business issues.
  12. Perform system functionality gap analysis and provide recommendations to help resolve the gaps.
  13. Work with Development and Implementation Team to review technical designs and configuration of applications.
  14. Assisting with data conversion/migration, testing, training and cutover activities.
  15. Work with other systems to collect requirements for the integration with content management application.
  16. Provide knowledge transfer/training to other team members.
  17. Create process or data flow diagrams.
  18. Take active part in the defect management process, set priorities, research issues, and discuss compliance impacts and timelines with test lead.
  19. Review test plans and perform quality check of test results.
  20. Provide estimates for new developments or existing project enhancements.
  21. Provide expertise for issue resolution.
  22. Communicate IT processes to the business clients and serve as a key resource within the area of expertise.
  23. Mentor the associate, career, and entry-level team members.
  24. Provide timely responses to client inquiries or delegate as appropriate.
  25. Interact with third-party interface providers for end-to-end solution support.
  26. Acquire, develop and maintain knowledge base of the portfolio applications and its functionality in knowledge management tools like Wiki.

Desired:

  1. Expert knowledge of the business requirements process.
  2. Detail-oriented, analytical, good oral and written communication skills.
  3. Advanced knowledge of multiple corresponding Line of Business-related functional areas.
  4. Working knowledge of reporting and manipulation tools, relational databases, including querying.
  5. Ability to create visual representations of business processes (including business process flow, data flow, functional breakout structures) using various diagram creation tools such as MS Visio.
  6. Strong understanding of the utility industry and multiple functional areas of related Line of Business.
  7. 9 years of job-related experience in information technology.
  8. 3 years of experience working with records information systems.
  9. Strong knowledge of the Application Development Lifecycle (both waterfall and agile).
  10. Skilled and experienced in leading requirement gathering, business analysis, solution design, and testing.
  11. Knowledge of test script creation and defect reporting and tracking systems, such as Quality Center.
  12. Knowledge in concepts of cloud applications and integrations.
  13. Experience working with OpenText Documentum application.
  14. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
