Tax Manager - Family Office/HNW

A wealth management firm in New York City is currently seeking an experienced Tax professional to join their growing team as a Tax Manager. In this role, the Tax Manager will be responsible for working closely with a Managing Director in providing accounting and family office services to a very large client.
Responsibilities:
The Tax Manager will be responsible for:

• Detailed review of Federal, and multi-state tax returns for High Net Worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, family LLC, trusts, foundations and gift tax returns
• Researching various tax issues related to the tax compliance and tax planning duties
• Reviewing quarterly and year-end tax projections using BNA tax software
• Performing other duties, as needed

• 5+ years of Tax and/or Family Office Services experience within a Middle Market and/or boutique CPA firm
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or a related field
• CPA or parts passed
• Good knowledge of 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120S, 990-PF, 709 and multi state
• Microsoft Excel proficient
• Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized

• Experience in an Ultra High Net Worth environment
