Unlock Your Potential: We're seeking a dynamic Vice President of Human Resources to lead our Specialty Products North America (SPNAM) division's HR function. As a key member of our Leadership Team (reporting to the President), you'll collaborate closely with peers to drive HR and Safety strategies for SPNAM, ensuring efficient processes and programs are in place to support business objectives.


Your responsibilities will span across various domains, from establishing a proactive Safety culture to driving a culture of continuous improvement. You'll lead the charge in developing HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and fostering a work environment that nurtures talent and innovation.


As our Vice President of Human Resources, you will lead the execution of organizational development, ensuring operational compliance, fostering employee engagement, and championing a culture of safety.


Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Knowledge:


Qualifications:

  1. Graduate and postgraduate qualifications in employment law and/or business-related discipline desired.
  2. Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of private employment law practice.
  3. SPHR certification preferred.
  4. Ability to travel up to 30%.

Experience:

  1. Extensive experience in senior HR leadership roles within multinational manufacturing or resources companies.
  2. Global organization experience preferred.
  3. Proven track record across the entire spectrum of HR functions including labor relations, recruitment, benefits, training, and organizational development.
  4. Experience leading diverse HR teams across multiple locations.
  5. Proficiency in developing and executing HR strategies to drive business performance and improvement.
  6. Strong project management skills.

Skills and Knowledge:

  1. Thorough knowledge of employment law, payroll, benefits, and workers' compensation claims management.
  2. Expertise in change management and business improvement practices.
  3. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
  4. Strong influencing and advisory skills, particularly with senior management.
  5. Excellent presentation and training abilities.
  6. Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
