AGC Automotive Americas (AANA) is a leading supplier of automotive glazing for the OEM and aftermarket industries and is part of the AGC Group, the largest global glass supplier employing more than 50,000 worldwide in approximately 30 countries.

The EHS Team Leader supports the site environmental team in fulfilling all EPA regulatory and Environmental Management System requirements. Concurrently, supports the Safety Department in fulfilling select OSHA regulatory and other safety requirements.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Environmental:
    • Maintains the MSDS database, site MSDS library, and ensures site-wide compliance with MSDS requirements.
    • Supports the manager in maintaining:
      • EPA regulatory compliance
      • ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
      • Site recycling program
    • Conducts internal audits and develops corrective action plans.
  • Safety and Health:
    • Acts as the site Emergency Response Team Commander during drills and emergency scenarios.
    • Organizes and schedules ERT team trainings.
    • Manages and ensures proper maintenance of site eye wash stations, emergency lights, fire extinguishers, and sprinkler systems.
  • Supports the development and maintenance of the site OSHAS 18001 SMS.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 4 – 6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Effective organization and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of creating purchase requisitions via MAPICS and Infor XA browser functions.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
