 Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee day-to-day operations within span of control, resolving problems as necessary, and ensuring that operations are efficient, compliant, safe, and of the highest possible quality. 
  • Optimize management structures and workflows within span of control to continually improve quality and efficiency. 
  • Provide oversight of patient care on all units to ensure quality of care and service including; facilitation timely admissions, participating in purposeful patient rounding and collaboration with clinical nurses, physicians and other key care providers. 
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary and interdepartmental communication for effective patient focused care.
  •  Identify staffing needs and direct resources in accordance with patient census/activity in collaboration with Staffing Coordinator to assure adequate staffing. 
  • Work in collaboration with CNO and Nursing Directors to support and drive nursing initiatives and goals. 
  • Participate in performance management including annual performance evaluations and disciplinary procedures as required. 
  • Comply with all Health Quest and affiliate policies and ensure compliance with all applicable law and regulation. 8. Regular attendance at committee meetings as required. 
  • Maintain contemporary professional knowledge and education.
  •  Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance Performs other duties as required 

Requirements: 

  • BSN preferred; ASN accepted 
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience in a supervisory capacity
  • CT RN License 
  • Current BLS, ACLS, & PALS is required by the start of orientation

  • Work Type: Per Diem
  • Work Schedule: Eve/Night 8 & 12
  • Work Shift: 7:00pm to 7:30am or 11:00pm to 7:30am

  • Salary Range: $43.9200 - $81.5500 Hourly
