The Quality FEP Business Analyst is responsible for managing claims production tasks, supporting audits, and identifying process improvements to ensure compliance with FEP performance metrics and operational standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in FEP audits by researching claim-related issues, preparing audit responses, and representing IBX during audit presentations.
- Handle claims production tasks, including written inquiries and reconsiderations, to meet FEP performance metrics.
- Evaluate and document FEP procedures and regulations, ensuring compliance and identifying necessary improvements.
- Support assigned FEP projects, maintain documentation, monitor deadlines, and act as a subject matter expert as required.
- Develop and update user documentation and desk-level procedures for the claims team.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or two years of relevant experience preferred; Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 4 years in a Claims/Service operations environment or related field.
- Familiarity with FEP policies, processing standards, and regulatory impacts; understanding of systems and process flows.
- Ability to adapt in a team environment and contribute to a collaborative work culture.
