Duties: Interact with Project Sponsors, Project Stakeholders and multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver complex features. Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. Plan and manage multiple parallel projects. Create, maintain, and disseminate project information to stakeholders. Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities. Be the glue that can understand, plan, and manage the cross-team inter-dependencies for complex systems. Communicate project issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner. Apply best practices to software development lifecycle for projects based on experiences with several agile and blended approaches, as well effectively coordinating the implementations across teams using very different approaches. Build and maintain integrated project schedules that account for internal/external dependencies, differing SDLC approaches, numerous constraints, and adequately factors in some contingency for some unplanned delays while still be aggressive. Remain flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas and have company success firmly in your focus.
Position allows for partial remote work (3 days per week in the office). Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Austin, TX.
Position supervised employees.
Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

Salary: $230,300 to $246,800 per year
What you have
Job Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field and 3 years of experience in a related occupation or a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience.
Experience must include the following: Thematic trading functionality; Modernize Mainframe applications and Mainframe decoupling; Aerospike and MongoDB; Building unltra-low latency and high throughput mission critical finance applications using Ultra Messaging and Kafka; Building self healing mechanisms to attain high resiliency with low recovery time; and Building cloud native applications deployed on prem using PCF, GCP, or AWS.
