The Role

JPA is actively seeking a Senior Designer to join our dynamic and collaborative agency. As a Senior Designer at JPA Health, you will be a part of our in-house Creative Team supporting a variety of clients within the health industry. This position is a hybrid role reporting to the DC office approximately 2 days per week.

The Responsibilities

  1. Support art/creative directors. Demonstrate the ability to take direction and develop conceptual designs, both independently and as part of the team.
  2. Oversee design projects, from conception to delivery.
  3. Ability to juggle multiple projects and timelines.
  4. Generate conceptual unique ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services.
  5. Ability to shift between traditional media (print/broadcast) & innovative digital projects.
  6. Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects.
  7. Liaise with account and design teams to ensure deadlines are met.
  8. Stay up to date with industry developments and tools.
  9. Work independently and across teams.

About You

Our ideal candidate must have :

  1. Bachelors plus 5+ years relevant experience in Graphic Design, Interactive Design, Visual Arts or relevant field experience in advertising/design agency environment.
  2. Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), comfortable using UI prototyping programs (XD or Figma preferred).
  3. Experience working in digital UI/UX, designing for social, and print design.
  4. Strong quality control skills and attention to visual details.
  5. Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team.
  6. A passion for current UX/UI digital trends and best practices.

We Would Be Thrilled If You Also Have

  1. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365; Video, animation, illustration, and 3D skills are a plus.

The anticipated starting pay for this role is between $75,000 - $85,000 annually, based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, qualifications, and location. You may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses. We review compensation annually and evaluate readiness for promotions every quarter.
