What We’re Looking For
As a Senior Cloud Software Engineer at CyberPoint, you will become part of a dynamic team focused on creating, implementing, and maintaining IAM policies, roles, permission boundaries, and SCPs across multiple AWS Organizations.
Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain shipping and sustaining applications deployed in containers and Kubernetes environments, primarily using Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
- Develop, publish, and maintain reusable Terraform modules to streamline infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Develop and maintain python-based applications using pytest and cucumber framework OR recent Java with Junit5 (Junit4 experience acceptable provided candidate trains and demonstrates competence with Junit5 prior to EOD).
- Use Terraform Enterprise and Vault Enterprise to manage IaaS, securing sensitive data and automating workflows.
- Mentor teammates to improve their skills, provide both primary and secondary technical review, and offer design, architectural, and/or process improvements.
Qualifications
What You’ll Need
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
- Minimum of sixteen (16) years of experience programming with at least 1 object-oriented language (Java, Python, C++, or Go) or 16 years of experience building large platforms by integrating open source or commercial software together with automation scripting.
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing applications in a Linux operating environment.
- 5 years functional experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
- 8 years functional experience deploying applications to container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
- Skills/Technologies: AWS, Terraform, Go, Python with PyTest, Drools, Java 18, Kubernetes, Jason, XML, git, GitLab, gitflow, CI/CD, Terraform Enterprise and Vault, Linux, Cucumber, Drools, JUnit5, RMF.
- Strong background in IAM policy and permission boundaries.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be reliable, professional, self-motivated, and enthusiastic.
