(Paid Rotating Remote on-call every three weekends)
POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Nursing and Compliance is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and directing the nursing and client care services within Baywood. This role plays a pivotal part in setting and executing the client care strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality nursing care, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment for all care staff.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current license (in good standing) as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- One (1) year of home care experience.
- Master’s degree in nursing or related field is preferred.
- Current and unrestricted nursing license.
- Extensive experience in nursing and client care leadership.
- Knowledge and ability to perform all nursing procedures as outlined in the scope of practice in the Nurse Practice Act.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements at the state, federal, and local level.
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.); client (AxisCare) and HRIS (UKG) software experience preferred.
- Capacity to work varied hours to accommodate early morning, late afternoon, and occasional evening schedules.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate and interface with executives, senior staff, and internal and external constituents.
- Exhibits confidentiality in handling information that may impact the entire organization.
- Ability to utilize discretionary decision-making.
- Demonstrated intercultural competence.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
